BOSTON — Mike Ferro of Milton ran a personal-best time to close the indoor track and field season, competing Saturday, March 4 in the New England Interscholastic Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center.

Ferro, a junior, was 25th in the 1,000 meters with his best time, 2:44.28. Milton had two relay teams competing — Carson Bianchi, Jarek Cyr, Emilio DeSouza and Nick Kelm took 21st in the 4×200 (1:41.47) while Ferro, Zach Popke, Jake McNeil and Michael Outama were 25th in the 4×800 (9:02.35).

Camille Hanna, also of Milton, competed in the high jump but failed to make the challenging opening height.
