What to do this weekend, March 12-14

Can you feel it? Real spring or false spring, record-breaking temperatures and sunshine are here! Soak it all up this weekend by getting outside and brightening your mood.

You could take a drive on Friday evening to Bakersfield Village Deli for pizza night, and Saturday might be a good day to take an in-state day trip. On Sunday, I'll be thinking about spring by making a light and flavorful tart — like this Feta-and-Herb Phyllo Tart or this Shaved Carrot Tart with Ricotta

Here's what else is going on this weekend.
