Former Milton fireworks vendor cited

The celebration everyone has been waiting for is almost here. A parade, fireworks and more will mark Independence Day in Milton this year.

Here's what you need to know before you go.

Parade: The Independence Day parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Herrick Avenue and continue along Barnum Street, Route 7 and Middle Road. The parade will end at Bombardier Park West.

Check out the map to plan your viewing spot.

Fireworks and more: From 6-9:30 p.m. food vendors will be available for an additional cost including Mr. Rick's Chuckwagon and B&M's Famous Fry's/ DJ RobsReady will churn out live tunes. Fireworks will be launched at approximately 9 p.m.

While the restrooms at Bombardier Park will be closed, there will be portable toilets for celebrants to use.

The event is substance free and sponsored by the Milton Firefighters Association.

Correction 7/2/21 11:15 a.m.: The article inaccurately stated that the Milton Community Band would perform during the celebration. The Milton Community Band will not be playing during the Independence Day Celebration.
