St. Patrick's Day will undoubtedly be different this year, but some traditions, like enjoying a rich stout and a corned beef sandwich will continue.

Here's a list of just some of the local restaurants who are serving Irish-inspired food specials and drinks for dine in or takeout on Wednesday. 

McKee’s Pub & Grill, Winooski

McKee’s in Winooski will serve up a traditional meal of corned beef, potatoes, carrots and cabbage on Wednesday, as well as lamb stew and Irish-inspired poutine with Guinness gravy. Order takeout online or dine in for a chance to win a free t-shirt.

Vermont Pub and Brewery, Burlington

All proceeds from retail sales of Vermont Pub and Brewery’s Burly Irish Ale on Wednesday will benefit the Vermont Foodbank. The pub will also be serving corned beef and cabbage for dine in or takeout. 

Rí Rá Irish Pub, Burlington

Located on Church Street, Rí Rá's will serve St. Patrick's Day specials like Bangers and Mask in addition to its typical Irish-inspired menu. Reservation slots are for 90-minutes. 

The Spanked Puppy, Colchester

The Spanked Puppy promises to share its St. Patrick’s Day specials on its Facebook page, but you can count on corned beef and cabbage for dine in or to go.

The Hideaway Steakhouse and Grill, Colchester

Call ahead on Wednesday or Thursday to order an Irish-inspired meal from The Hideaway. The new restaurant in Colchester will have corned beef and cabbage with potatoes and carrots, as well as two special sandwiches — the Irishman and the Irish Big Bird.

The Hideaway's Shamrock Fries, crispy and shoestring topped with house cheese sauce and diced corned beef, would be great to share with the whole family

Rick’s Grill, Milton

Rick’s Grill will begin serving corned beef and cabbage starting at noon on Wednesday. Its menu will also offer special cocktails, for dine in or to-go.

Cody's Irish Pub and Grille, Essex Junction

Reservations at Cody's are almost full for Wednesday, so call ahead if you are looking to dine-in. Takeout is also available. Cody's corned beef and cabbage special is $12.95 at lunch and $14.95 at dinner.

McGillicuddy's Five Corners, Essex Junction

All week long, you can order a special Irish-inspired cocktail from McGillicuddy's. The restaurant is also hosting a St. Patrick's food drive until April 2. Donate and receive a $5 McGillicuddy's gift card. 

Jules On the Green, Essex

Jules on the Green is serving corned beef and cabbage with honey mustard glaze and Irish soda bread. Order ahead for a family size portion to-go. Jules' St. Patrick’s Day celebration also includes the “O’Malley,” a sandwich of brisket, cabbage and swiss cheese on multigrain bread.

14th Star Brewing Company, St. Albans

Head to St. Albans on Wednesday evening for stouts and Irish-inspired St. Patrick's Day specials. Try 14th Star’s new Dry Irish Stout or its Maple Breakfast Stout. Specials include Bangers and Mash, an Irish Burger, and a Corned Beef and Cabbage Melt.
