Calling all Milton community members! We want to know: How are you rising up from the pandemic?

Milton residents of all ages are encouraged to participate in this essay contest hosted by the Milton Independent — for a chance to win a prize and have your words featured on our site! 

Prompt: How are you rising up from the pandemic?

As Milton begins to re-open after more than a year of living with Covid-19, help us document this moment of positivity by writing an essay of no more than 500 words on how you are moving forward in your life and how the pandemic changed you.

Tell us about a new skill you learned, business you started, or career change you made during lockdown. Who did you miss seeing and how are you reuniting post-vaccination? What activities did you miss participating in and how are you now getting involved?
