Friday, Nov. 12

US Route 7 / Lake Road-6:19 p.m.

  • An officer responded to the area of US Route 7 where a vehicle was reported to be operating erratically. The officer was able to locate the vehicle parked in a parking lot. Upon making contact with the driver, no signs of impairment were noted.

Mears Road-2:04 p.m.

  • A Corporal assisted Milton Rescue with a person who was thrown from a horse and landed on their back. Cpl. Grenier provided stabilization and lift assistance prior to transport for further medical care.

Delma Dr-1:18 p.m. 

  • An officer responded to a residence on Delma Drive where it was reported that a neighbor’s dog was outside and had barked on and off for over an hour. The neighbor was located, and the dog was brought inside. 

Saturday, Nov. 13

McMullen Road-7:50 a.m. 

  • An officer responded to a residence on McMullen Road to accompany  a resident needing medical care, and waited with them until they were able to be transported.

US Route 7 S-10:32 p.m.

  • An officer and a Corporal responded to a residence on US Route 7 due to the report of an individual causing a disturbance at the residence, throwing items and trying to kick in the door. The resident confirmed their former partner, who was intoxicated, had already left on foot after causing a disturbance. Due to both individuals currently living at the address, the individual was told that their former partner could not be locked out. The resident was also advised to call back if there were any other issues.

Sunday, Nov. 14

Ledge Dr-12:01 p.m.

  • An officer and a Corporal were dispatched to a residence on Ledge drive for an alarm activation. The property was checked, and ultimately secured. 

Monday, Nov. 15

S Main St, St Albans City-7:39 p.m.

  • A Sargent assisted the St. Albans Police Department with a Drug Recognition Expert Screening with a driver they believed to be driving under the influence.

Owen Ct-6:35 p.m. 

  • A corporal was dispatched to a residence on Owen Court due to the report of a disturbance. The complainant said they had gotten into a verbal altercation with the owner of the residence, but that it had only been verbal.

Tuesday, Nov. 16

Pecor Ave / Rita Way-12:51 p.m. 

  • A Corporal initiated a traffic stop for an observed motor vehicle violation. Upon identifying the driver, it was discovered that their license had expired. After providing false information, the passenger was identified and was confirmed to have an active warrant. The passenger initially attempted to flee from officers, but was quickly apprehended. As a result, a man from Georgia, VT, was taken into custody on his outstanding warrant and issued a citation to appear in court at a later date to answer to the charges of false information to a police officer and resisting arrest. 

Mackey St / Herrick Ave-4:35 p.m. 

  • A Sergeant  responded to the intersection of Mackey Street and Herrick Avenue due to the report of an unoccupied vehicle in the intersection that could block traffic. After identifying the registered owner, Sgt. Philbrook met them at their residence which was close by. The owner advised they had run out of gas after picking their child up from school, and that a tow truck was coming to provide fuel. The Sergeant waited with the vehicle until it was re-fueled and moved from the intersection. 

Wednesday, Nov. 17

Rebecca Lander Dr-7:00 a.m.

  • A Sergeant instructed a Driver’s Education course to Milton High School students. 

Bear Trap Road / Sanderson Road-5:47 p.m.

  • A Copporal responded to the area of Bear Trap and Sanderson Road after a report of downed electrical wires in the road. Cpl. Porter was able to provide traffic control until the fire department was able to respond. 

Thursday, Nov. 18

Jenna Ln-8:56 a.m.

  • A Sergeant and an officer responded to a residence on Jenna Lane due to a report of a domestic situation between two people. Both parties confirmed the incident was a verbal disagreement only and agreed to separate for the day.

S Main St, St Albans City,-12:38 p.m.

  • An officer and K9 assisted the St. Albans Police department with the request for a K9 search of a subject’s property.
