1/31, 7:30 a.m., Public Assist, Lawnwood Dr.
Officer Matthew McQueen spoke to a resident who wanted to report his water pipes were disconnected outside his residence. There was no reported damage, and there are no leads at this time.

Cpl. Scott Philbrook gave elementary school students a tour of the police department.

1/31, 10:05 a.m., Burglary, McMullen Rd.
Officer Ed Larente is investigating a report of a burglary from a business. The case is still under investigation.

1/31, 1:22 p.m., Juvenile Problem, Rebecca Lander Dr.
Cpl. Philbrook spoke with a high school student who reported being harassed by another student.

1/31, 3 p.m., Public Assist, Bombardier Rd.
Sgt. Paul Locke spoke with a complainant who had questions about the law regarding disqualification from owning or possessing firearms.

1/31, 6:30 p.m., Missing Person, Hemlock Rd.
Cpl. Gordon LaFountain spoke to parents who reported their daughter was missing. Several leads were investigated, and the female was entered into a national database as a missing person. The family made contact with the female the following day and determined she was safe.

2/1, 9:42 a.m., Juvenile Problem, Bombardier Rd.
Officer Larente responded to a report of an out-of-control juvenile. He spoke with the child, who had calmed and was cooperative. No further police assistance was needed.

2/1, 1:29 p.m., Vandalism, Rebecca Lander Dr.
Cpl. Philbrook investigated a broken window at the school. He identified the juvenile who was responsible for the vandalism and referred the case to Chittenden Superior Court-Family Division for prosecution.

2/1, 1:53 p.m., Threats/Harassment, Milton Falls Ct.
A resident confronted a couple who were walking on Milton Falls Court, accusing them of being involved in illegal activity. Officer McQueen investigated and determined the couple lived in the area and had not violated any law. He spoke with the other party about contacting the police to report his concerns as opposed to confronting individuals himself.

2/1, 2:52 p.m., Arrest on Warrant, Route 7 at Landfill Rd.
Officer Jareco Coulombe stopped a vehicle for an inspection violation. Investigation revealed the passenger had an outstanding arrest warrant. The passenger was transported to jail, and the operator was issued a warning for having an uninspected vehicle.

2/1, 11:21 p.m., Disturbance, Route 7
A resident called to report a woman was trying to get into her residence. Sgt. Locke responded and spoke with the woman, who was intoxicated. He determined she had court-ordered conditions of release prohibiting her from consuming alcohol. She will be arraigned in Chittenden Superior Court – Criminal Division on March 1 for the violation.

2/2, 9:54 p.m., Suspicious, Everest Rd.
Detective Cpl. Frank Scalise is investigating a report of harassment. The case is still active.

2/2, 12:30 p.m., Domestic Disturbance, Field Ridge Dr.
Multiple officers responded to a physical domestic disturbance on Field Ridge Drive. Officers arrested a 62-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man for domestic assault. Both arrestees were accused of assaulting the same person. Further investigation resulted in the recovery of illegal drugs from the residence and a vehicle. The drug case is still under investigation

2/2, 7:02 p.m., Suspicious, Railroad St.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle pulling into multiple driveways. Sgt. Locke located the vehicle and spoke with the operator, who advised he was a plumber looking for an address.

2/3, 10:12 p.m., Assist Motorist, Route 7 at Centre Dr.
Officer Richard Corbin located a vehicle that was disabled in the roadway. He located the operator who had run out of gas. The vehicle was removed a short time later.

2/3, 11:53 a.m., Accident – Property Damage, Centre Dr.
Cpl. Chris Grenier investigated a minor parking lot accident. There were no injuries, and the damage was minor. He provided both operators with a crash report.

2/3, 2:19 p.m., Public Assist, Route 7
Officer Corbin responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked at a closed business. It was determined the operator of the vehicle had parked and gotten a ride in another vehicle. The business owner was advised of his option to have the vehicle towed, as it was parked on private property.

2/3, 3:55 p.m., Motor Vehicle Complaint, Sawyer Ave.
Cpl. Grenier received a report of a possibly intoxicated driver. He spoke with the owner of the vehicle and determined he was not intoxicated.

2/3, 8:31 p.m., Retail Theft, Route 7
Sgt. Locke responded to a shoplifting complaint. The case is still under investigation.

2/3, 11:48 p.m., Arrest on Warrant, Chrisemily Ln.
Officers went to a residence to attempt to locate a female who was wanted for violating court ordered conditions of release. She was located hiding behind a shed and was arrested. She was transported to jail to await a court date.

2/4, 1:26 p.m., Public Assist, McMullen Rd.
Officer Coulombe spoke with a complainant who wanted assistance dealing with a dispute over work performed on a vehicle. He investigated and determined the issue was not a police matter and would have to be handled between the parties involved or in civil court.

2/4, 5:25 p.m., Public Assist, River St. at Cherry St.
Cpl. Grenier located a male who had fallen off a bicycle. He determined the male was not injured and needed no further assistance.

2/5, 7:09 a.m., Suspicious, Route 2
Officer McQueen responded to a report of a vehicle that had been parked on U.S. Route 2 for several hours. He located the vehicle in a pull-off and spoke with the operator who advised he was tired and had pulled over to rest.

2/5, 3:30 p.m., Public Assist, Bombardier Rd.
Officer McQueen spoke with a resident who wanted to make police aware of an individual who was driving without a license. The person also had questions about repossessing a vehicle, which McQueen explained was a civil matter.

2/6, 7:59 a.m., Accident – Personal Injury, Route 7 at Landfill Rd.
Officers responded to a three-vehicle crash with reported injuries. Sgt. Locke is still investigating.

Cpl. Philbrook assisted a student who had questions about retrieving property from a previous residence.
