The Milton Family Community Center would like to thank all the friends, businesses and community members who supported children needing backpacks, binders, paper, crayons and other necessary items so that they were ready to start school this year.

Due to the generosity of the community, 32 families were served, providing materials to 66 students entering preschool through grade 12.

We would like to especially acknowledge Gadue Dry Cleaners, which includes Milton in its annual school supply program, and the Milton Kinney Drugs store, for its effort in promoting this program by providing a collection container and advertising this program that assists families who have exhausted their resources.

Applications are available at the MFCC for families needing warm jackets and boots. Our supplies are limited. Community members wishing to donate winter clothing are encouraged to drop clothing off at Gadue Dry Cleaners in Colchester, where they will be cleaned. The date of distribution is yet to be determined and families will be notified.
