SUMMER JOBS at the TYLER PLACE The Tyler Place Resort in Highgate Springs has seasonal job opportunities available. All positions include competitive salary, free meals while on duty, end of season bonus and use of resort facilities during time off. TENNIS PRO, NATURE GUIDE, INFANT & TODDLER CAREGIVERS, CAMP COUNSELORS, DISHWASHER/PREP COOKS, DINING ROOM SERVERS AND WATER SPORTS INSTRUCTORS/BOAT DRIVERS These positions are perfect for college students returning home for the summer, recent retirees, high school seniors or anyone looking for a rewarding summer job. SOUS CHEF Passionate about great food and experienced in buffet presentation who can further enhance our reputation for fresh, simple, delicious, Vermont-inspired meals. NIGHT AUDITOR Are you a night owl who is trustworthy, professional and enjoys working with numbers? Are you able to work independently and deal with emergencies calmly and effectively? If so, this may be the right position for you! The Night Auditor works from 11 PM until 7 AM and serves as the manager-on-duty throughout the night and responds to guest needs and any circumstances that may arise. Duties also include organizing and entering the day’s guest charges into our billing software; preparing weekly reports; assisting the financial manager and front desk manager with a variety of weekly and ongoing projects. OR...JOIN OUR YEAR-ROUND RESORT MAINTENANCE TEAM We’re looking for a candidate with strong carpentry skills to join our maintenance team. (We’re also open to considering recent high school or college graduates interested in a career in the construction/property maintenance field.) Significant time is spent on outdoor building projects during the off-season (September through May). Various other duties may include landscaping, painting, remodeling, roofing, security, pool maintenance, plumbing, vehicle maintenance, etc. Off-season schedule is 9-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, with afternoons off on Friday. Summer schedule may include one weekend day. Applicants must be hardworking, physically fit, trustworthy, friendly, reliable and able to work well with others and with minimal supervision.
