Milton police arrested two people in connection with a theft of copper from the senior housing development on Haydenberry Drive. Police arrested Stephanie Lacross, 30, of Georgia and Jason Laframboise, 33, of Milton, citing Lacross with possession of stolen property and Laframboise with burglary and marijuana cultivation, Detective Frank Scalise said. They’ll be arraigned on the charges on July 28 and July 9, respectively. The copper stolen was valued in excess of $2,000; some was recovered.

Officer Ed Larente located an 11-year-old girl that was reported missing. He found her just down the road.

Officer Larente noticed a vehicle parked in a used car lot had its hazard lights flashing. He attempted to contact the owner.

A resident requested someone who was about to be released from prison be trespassed from their property. Officer Larente forwarded the request to the proper law enforcement agency.

Cpl. Jon Centabar received a report of a vehicle operating erratically, but he could not locate it.

Cpl. Scott Philbrook returned a lost wallet and cell phone to their owner.

While Sgt. Paul Locke was on foot patrol at the Sarah Marie apartments, he noticed someone giving the middle finger to his cruiser, which was parked across the street. He politely explained officers have the right to walk around in the neighborhood.

Officer Larente asked a person seen loitering around Hannaford to move along.

Police are investigating who is responsible for knocking a mailbox off its post. There are no leads at this time.

While he was serving paperwork in the area, Officer Jareco Coulombe was approached about someone turning a resident’s power off at their house.

Amy Joyal, 37, was cited with operating without owner’s consent after Officer Coulombe spotted her driving a Kia Sportage that was reported stolen.

Officer Jason Porter and K9 Hatchi was requested by Colchester police to track in a residential burglary.

Milton police and fire crews assisted with cleaning up a gallon of fuel spilled at Midtown Mobil.

Officer Coulombe responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle, located it and found it was involved in a criminal driving with license suspended case.

6/27, 11:16 a.m., Burglary, Clapper Rd.
Officer Nick Hendry cited a 52-year-old woman for burglary, but the state’s attorney office declined to prosecute the case, instead referring it to the reparative board. The woman had cut locks off a storage locker and taken some items.

6/27, 2:30 p.m., Domestic Disturbance, Hobbs Rd.
Officer Coulombe responded to a residence for a couple who were yelling at each other for the last hour about fixing a bicycle. Both parties laughed when they realized police were there due to their frustration with the bike.

Cpl. Chris Grenier assisted a citizen in retrieving belongings from the apartment from where they were recently vacated.

6/28, 2:24 a.m., DUI, West Milton Rd. at Route 7
Sgt. Locke clocked a driver traveling 51 mph in a 35 mph-zone. He cited the man, Timothy D. Olver, 25, of Grand Isle with driving under the influence, second and subsequent offense, when a roadside breath test registered a blood-alcohol content of .147. He’ll be arraigned on July 16, police said.

A man felt he was being verbally harassed. Officer Coulombe gave him information on how to apply for a restraining order.

6/29, 6:59 a.m., Accident – Property Damage, Pinewood Ln.
A driver backed out of a parking space and into another vehicle, causing minor damage and no injuries.

6/29, 5:24 p.m., Juvenile Problem, Route 7
A juvenile approached Cpl. Philbrook since he’s the student resource officer at Milton School District about an issue.

6/29, 10:49 p.m., Suspicious, Kim Ln.
A complainant said their vehicle had been rummaged through. The vehicle was left unlocked, but nothing appeared missing from inside.

6/30, 10:06 a.m., Larceny, Route 7
A citizen reported a theft of a sign. Police have no leads.

6/30, 2:26 p.m., Motor Vehicle Complaint, Route 7
A complainant said someone caused damage to their vehicle. Officer William Bosworth is waiting for further information to complete his investigation.

6/30, 3:09 p.m., ATV Complaint, Haydenberry Dr.
Cpl. Philbrook took a report of an ATV driving on the roadway. He spoke with some juveniles who were standing near an ATV, but he did not see them operating it.

6/30, 10:38 p.m., Accident – Property Damage, East Rd.
A male driver dropped his soda, leaned over to pick it up and lost control of the vehicle in the process, ending upside down in a ditch. He was wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured. His vehicle was removed by AAA.
