MILTON – Norman H. Kilburn, 77, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017 at home with his wife by his side.
Norm was born March 5, 1940 the son of Robert and Florence (Root) Kilburn. As a young man, Norm worked on family farms. His love was in operating heavy equipment, and he worked for the town of Milton. He was presently employed at Advance Auto. Norm loved to hunt and was a great dancer.
He is survived by his wife and companion of over 52 years, Donna (LaRock) Kilburn, of Milton; by his children Toby Kilburn, Brenda Minor, Norma (Todd) Kilburn, Louella (Randy) Gove, Rebecca (Scott) Hilgenberg; his brothers and sisters Robert (Betty) Kilburn, Gail (Carl) Alger, Winston (Marie) Kilburn, Albert (Janice) Kilburn, Louis (Donna) Kilburn, Bruce (Doreen) Kilburn; by 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Norm is also survived by Donna’s brothers Rob (Darlene) Pecor and Cedric (Joan) Pecor and by his sisters Joanne Savoy and Sonya (Bill) Sawyer.
He was predeceased by his son Tomas Kilburn, brothers Ronald and Roger, sister Valetta Leduc, brother-in-law Donald Pecor and sister-in-law Dorothy Desso.
A celebration of Norm’s life will be held Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Arrowhead Senior Center at 46 Middle Rd. in Milton. Online condolences may be made to www.minorfh.com.
