Vermont State Police arrested a Georgia woman for drunken driving after she crashed her car last Wednesday night, a press release said.

Police said Amber Anger, 33, was under the influence while driving her Jeep Liberty on Woods Hollow Drive in Georgia. At about 11:25 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, officers responded to the area and found the vehicle in a ditch; it sustained minor damage from the crash, and Anger was uninjured.

A preliminary breath test on scene registered Anger’s BAC at .25 percent. She was arrested for DUI and processed at VSP’s St. Albans barracks before officers released her with a citation.

Anger is due in Franklin County Superior Court – Criminal Division on September 19 to answer the charge.
