Davilyn Bourne and Alexis Drown scored points in three events each as Milton edged visiting Harwood in Friday night’s gymnastics meet, 114.5-109.1.
Drown won the floor exercise and was second to Harwood’s Delana Cheney in all-around by just 2-tenths of a point, 29.75-29.55. Drown’s 8.0 on the floor was more than half a point better than runner-up Kayden Rand of Milton.
Hailey Hemingway took top honors in uneven bars with a score of 6.8, edging Harwood’s Riley Gallagher (6.75). Hemingway was also fourth in floor.
Bourne was second to Cheney on the balance beam, with a 7.8 that just trailed the Highlander’s 8.0. Bourne also placed fourth in vault and bars, while Drown scored points on the bars and beam.
Kayleigh Bluto, Makaylah Mullins, Kaylee Shaw and Meghan Fondakowski also had top-four event finishes for the Yellowjackets, who won three of the four disciplines.
