Shots but no goals in field hockey losses

Milton outshot Montpelier and Missisquoi, but lost back-to-back 1-0 field hockey decisions at home last week. The Yellowjackets fired 17 shots toward the Montpelier goal on Thursday but couldn’t score, while the Solons had just three shots but put one in the goal for the win. Milton thought it had tied the game early in the second half, but its apparent goal was disallowed.
