Sondra Marie LeClair

ESSEX CENTER —  Sondra Marie LeClair, 76, of Essex passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. Sondra was born Sept. 16, 1936 in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., the daughter of the late Ward John and Gertrude Mary DuBois Kelder. In 1956, she was married to Charles Eric LeClair. Former residents of Milton and New Paltz, N.Y., they moved back to Essex in 2009. Shirley Ethel Parkhill, R.N.

Shirley Parkhill of the Wake Robin community in Shelburne passed away peacefully on Oct. 19, 2012 at the age of 89. Shirley was an original Wake Robin resident, having moved in when the facility opened 19 years ago. Until mid-October, she was actively involved in the community’s activities, taking pride in her “job” of counting the gift shop receipts every day.
