Alan L. Mossey, Sr.

MILTON –Alan L. Mossey, Sr. died unexpectedly at the age of 66 on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. Alan was born Oct. 12, 1946 in Burlington, the son of Irving and Marjorie Denton Mossey. On Dec. 16, 1967, he married Wanda Wimble at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Malletts Bay. In 1973, he and Wanda founded Alan Mossey and Sons Excavating Company and have proudly served the people in this area for the past 39 years. Alfred H. Young, Sr.

Georgia – Alfred H. Young Sr., 75, of Georgia Mountain Road, died peacefully at his home in the presence of his loving family on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012. Alfred was born June 24, 1937 in Burlington, the son of the late Nelson Jr. and Yvonne Dennis Young. On Oct. 1, 1960 he married Betty Johnson at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Colchester.
